In the last student radio show of the year Rhodders pulls out all the stops. Bobby is back for yet another mind blowing life changing fact. We talk about Festival bozos, the jerks you meet at music festivals who are intent on ruining your experience. Producer Siobhan calls in from Glastonbury festival and Chris takes over as producer in her absence. We also waste money with a very expensive phone call to a reporter in South Africa to get all the news from the World Cup! Also Chris is hampered in his attempts to read the news by Rhodders’ Welsh grandfather! Finally, as is the last show we reminisce and play out some of the best bits from the show over the last year.

Our guest was none other than BBC Radio 1′s drivetime presenter, the Sony Gold award winning Scott Mills. Rhodders was lucky enough to interview Scott at the student radio conference . We talk about everything from how Scott got started, abusive texts and children’s television! In order to keep the students informed Rhodders interviews the controversial politician Opie Halison. What unfolds is a David Dimbleby worthy, in depth political interview.
And of course where would we be without Bobby and his amazing facts? (Somewhere happy where we did not rely on men in lab coats for answers). We asked the listeners “what’s the worst way that they have been woken up?” And “have you ever had a problem with a noisy neighbours?”

Rhodders’ student radio show is back for another term of chaos and calamity. This week we have the return of “Bobby’s Amazing Fact” after learning that apparently our show is not educational enough! We also play our new game “what news?”Our in studio guest was Chris the deputy editor and news editor of Reading Uni’s student newspaper, Spark*. With his superpowers of “up-to-date news” he tells the students what they need to know and have a bit of a laugh in the process.
Our topic was “noisy neighbours and how do you deal with them?”. We also talk breasts causing earthquakes and much more (what more could you want!?)

An episode from the first term of my student radio show. If this is your first time listening I would suggest you pick another as this is a bit old! However there are some gems in it!
Rhodders is in a palaver following a week of losing everything! After weeks of difficulty with the phone system Rhodders wages war on it, or be that demand Stuart the head of tech fix it, who makes a great impromptu co-host. In the process of fixing the phone we torture it into making some of the most unreal noises ever heard! After asking the listeners what would they marry if they could marry any thing, we hear about a man from China marrying a virtual girlfriend! We also have Bobby’s Amazing Fact and You Make Me Sick

This week Rhodders is very excited as he has been nominated for the “Best Newcomer” to the student radio station at the society’s ball and award ceremony. We ask listeners to send in words to shoehorn into his acceptance speech, they do not disappoint! Following a spate of bizarre voicemails, which Rhodders shares, we ask whether you have ever received a bizarre text message or voicemail? We also discover e-mails can be perilous as we read out some of the most embarrassing e-mail blunders in history. To finish things off we have a lovely rant in “You Make Me Sick”
