| Nomination for “Best Newcomer” at Junction11 Good news! I have been nominated for the “Best Newcomer” award by Junction 11 the student radio station I broadcast on. I will find out whether or not I have won the award on Thursday at the Societys Ball, I imagine it will be a classier version of the Oscars minus the intimidating gold statues. I am very pleased even to be nominated, regardless of whether I receive the award or not I will take this as a signal that I should try even harder to improve my show. Remember I can’t do that without your feedback so get in touch. | Rhodders: Junction11 Show 14 Reading University is reeling after campaign week. This is when students engaging Democratic battle to try and secure themselves jobs in the student union. In the co-host Corner to talk about her campaign week is Suzie. In addition we attempt to clean up Britain’s dirty mind by asking listeners to send in rude rhymes and Limericks. We then censor them to make them more appropriate. If Rhodders is telling Britain to grow up we really are all in trouble! We also discuss people with ridiculous names. Shay from the band “Kids in Glass Houses”makes repeat appearances and Rhodders and Suzie makes reading an article about the burning bush and most complex procedure ever.
